I am a self-taught artist/designer. I've been a maker of things all my life, and have tried several different mediums. Being an artist is a way of life. For me, creating is one of my basic but deepest needs, it keeps me happy. Knitting brings me a passion & joy that never gets old, I can't be pinned down to a certain style, as there is much exploring left to do!

I like to create things that are a little offbeat, I love classic designs with a twist that makes them a bit unexpected. It gives me great pleasure when my work brings a smile to someone’s face.

Quality and consistency are very important to me, and I strive to continually challenge myself to learn more and improve my techniques. What inspires me? Well, nature is the biggest source, since it is right there on my doorstep every morning to greet me. Besides the obvious places like architecture and fashion, I see cables in trees, swirls in rivers, curves in flowers, all of which give me new ideas.

Currently I live in the Blue Ridge mountains in Western North Carolina with my husband and daughter, a beautiful place that lets my soul breathe.
